The Nissan-Renault Alliance, now including Mitsubishi Motors, has announced their new so-called Alliance 2022 vision in Paris recently. The vision the companies share sees then moving forward with autonomous, electric vehicles during the next six years.
Nissan is leading the charge with the redesigned 2018 Nissan LEAF, but Mitsubishi will probably follow suit as the company is most likely going to revamp for electrified, autonomous-enabled profitability. All three companies seem to be on the same page, truly leveraging the global synergies between themselves.
