Apple officially announced that it is joining other tech companies as a founding member of the AI initiative. Amazon, Facebook, Google, IBM and Microsoft unveiled the initiative in September 2016. Now Apple has joined as well because it could not miss the opportunity if it wants to hire some of the best AI engineers. The Companies will work on research projects, AI best practices and more. It has to clarify its areas of work yet. Research papers will be published on AI. The first meeting is taking place tomorrow.
