Audi launched a vehicle-to-infrastructure communication system that tells the driver when the traffic lights will change. The Audi A4, Q7 and A4 allroad models built after June 1, 2016 have a timer that tells you when the light will change. So far this technology only works in Las Vega because Audi and the Las Vegas government worked together to link 1000 traffic lights to the timer installed in the cars. The timer displays behind the driver’s wheel and counts the seconds until the lights turn green. It disappears three seconds before the light changes.
