With the increasing competition in the mobility services sector, automakers are either joining hands with the xisting sharing services players or venturing into the field themselves. With its acquisition of the Texas based high-end mobility company, Silvercar, Audi is planing to expand its shared car services alongside its already functioning Audi On Demand and Audi At Home. The partnerships in the shared mobility services are not new and companies such as GM-Lyft, BMW, Daimler and Volvo-Uber are already leading the way.
