Austin, Texas, has passed The New Mobility Resolution recently to cement its role as a global leader in the transition to mobility systems of the future. The plan of the resolution is to create a New Mobility Plan to support and welcome innovators as well as promote commercialization and consumer adoption of shared, electric and autonomous mobility services. With the support of the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), Austin wants to, for example, find commuting solutions and urge fleet electrification. Having already attracted pioneers in mobility, Austin is all set to become one of the next mobility hubs.
