Based on Mitsubishi’s Mobile Mapping System (MMS), two new technologies have been developed by the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation for the autonomous driving sector which will be used in the support, development and maintenance of the high precision 3D maps which provide static information of roads and surrounding objects. With an aim to actively contribute in the early development and implementation of systems for a better and safe autonomous driving, the two technologies will make a debut at CeBIT 2017 in Hannover, Germany from 20-24 March 2017.
