Universal Biopack is a Thai company that has developed an eco-sensitive food packaging composed of bamboo and cassava. With the aim of cutting down Thailand’s rapidly growing waste problem, Universal Biopack utilizes a technology devised at the Bangkok university. This technology is variably applicable so it might be possible to package furniture or phones in the future, as well.
