Beyond 5G: NSF pushes for Advanced Wireless with its $6.1 million awards

With a recent surge in the usage of the wireless devices in the masses in the US, the Northeastern University and the U.S. Ignite Inc. have been given $6.1 million award by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) through its Platforms for Advanced Wireless Research (PAWR) program. This has been done with an aim to accelerate the wireless communication and networking researches in order to cope up with the ever increasing supply and usage of the wireless enabled devices and aims to reduce the burden from 4G LTE and public Wi-Fi networks etc.
