The Indian city of Bhubaneswar has been honored with the USA global award for its smart city project. It is said to be a leading example of how economic growth and improvements of living conditions are fostered by new technologies in an urban environment. The award named “Pierre L’Enfant International Planning Excellency Award 2017, will be given on May, 8 by the American Planning Association (APA).
