Bill Gates and fellow billionaires have launched 20 year lasting one billion USD fund for clean tech investments. The fund is backed by some of the richest entrepreneurs worldwide such as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson and Jack Ma of the Alibaba Group. According to Bill Gates their goal is to build companies that will help deliver the next generation of reliable, affordable, and emissions-free energy to the world.
