The Canadian phone company “BlackBerry” will open an autonomous driving research center today. BlackBerry is focused on how its software interacts with sensors, cameras and other components required for a car to drive itself. The company is expanding its subsidiary QNX Ottawa facility to focus on developing advanced driver assistance and autonomous vehicle technology.
