Oil giant BP is putting $155 million into production facilities for Redeem, a brand of biomethane belonging to Clean Energy Fuel Corp. The deal is thought to benefit both companies to remain competitive with the increasing demand for renewable natural gas vehicles.
Redeem is particularly interesting for transport companies that want to hit certain emission regulation goals that some US states, with Canada following suit soon, enforce.
