BreezoMeter is a big data analytics company that provides dynamic air-quality data. At the Smart City Expo, taking place in Barcelona November 15-17, the company will showcase its Smart City technology. The technology has already been implemented in Smart City projects around the world. In cooperation with Cisco France, BreezoMeter solutions tested its technology in Place de la Nation in Paris. The BreezoMeter analyzes air-quality data from local sensors and is connected to the LoRaWAN architecture deployed by Cisco. All in all, BreezoMeter is tackling air pollution. 80 percent of cities worldwide do not meet the WHO standards for healthy air. 92 percent of the population worldwide lives in polluted areas. The BreezoMeter software platform provides Smart Cities with information needed to make required decisions concerning the mitigation of air pollution. The software identifies areas where air pollution is likely to move over the course. Due to the technology, city officials are enabled to limit traffic in those areas for example.
