Shenzhen, a Chinese city with a population of nearly 12 million people, is going to turn its public bus transportation 100 percent electric by the end of 2017. The city already deploys 14,000 electric buses, having quickly switched to electric in just six years. This complete switch is guaranteed to drastically reduce pollution and respiratory problems.

BYD, the company that is providing 80 percent of the electric buses, is leading the Chinese EV market, and has introduced their buses all over the world.
