The Chan Zuckerberg Biohub which is the non-profit medical research organization founded by Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg announced it invest 50 million USD to its first cohort of disease investigators which are 47 initiatives. The Biohub unites Bay Area universities like the University of California (Berkeley) the University of California (San Francisco) and Stanford. One of the keystones to this collaboration effort is the investigative program. What makes the Biohub special is that it is opening itself to all types of research to make great scientific progress.
