Charging a Tesla will not be for free anymore

Charging a Tesla car is not for free any longer. Models ordered after the end of 2016 will get annual credits at its supercharger network. After that owners will have to pay for the charge. Vehicles bought on or before January 1, 2017, will still get free charging. Nevertheless, charging the Tesla will still be less pricy than filling up a car driven by gas. The international network started in 2012. Nowadays there are 734 supercharger stations with 4605 superchargers in use by more than 160000 Tesla owners worldwide. The supercharger network allows travelers fast charges that provides up to 170 miles of range in about 40 minutes.
