Chicago is getting its “fitness trackers”: As part of the project “Array of Things”, the city has begun installing sensors that will monitor its “vital signs” in real time. The small, devices will allow the government and public to get data on air quality, noise levels, as well as vehicular and pedestrian traffic for each block of the city.
