Tesla announced it will decide on a location in Europe for its “Gigafactory 2” next year. The Gigafactory 2 is an electric car and battery factory modeled after Tesla’s first Gigafactory in Nevada. Some European countries have already started competing and launched efforts to convince Tesla to build the new factory in their country. That would mean an investment of roughly 5 billion USD and the creation of betweeen 6000 to 10000 direct jobs.
