The nonprofit organization OpenAI was set up by Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla and Space Explorations Technologies) and Sam Altman (president of Y combinator) to develop AI in a way that it is safe and accessable on a wide range. OpenAI and Microsoft now enter a partnership to develop cloud computing together in terms of research and application. Microsoft’s Azure cloud system plays a central role which is regularly applied by OpenAI in its large-scale experiments.
