As the 2017 NASCIO Midyear conference concludes, cybersecurity has established itself as one of the main talking points for all levels of government. Governor of Virginia Terry McAuliffe said he made “cybersecurity the No. 1 signature issue for all 50 states.” The state propagates the use of a cyberplatform. Reacting to increased threats through the Internet of Things, US states like Michigan and Mississippi highlight the importance of public-private partnerships or use personal concierges for government services like MiPage to combine mobile first, big data and cybersecurity.
The conference also eloborated heavily on the advantages of agile development.
