The Data Lab is partnering up with UNICEF to encourage organizations from a diverse range of sectors to share their data in order to solve pressing public problems such as childhood obesity, which is the first project for the collaboration. About 30 percent of children between 2 and 15 years of age are endangered by obesity-related health complications.
To solve problems like this, DataCollaboratives.org was developed in partnership with The Governance Lab at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the Omidvar Network.
