Digitization of major industries could save our planet

According to new research by technology provider SAP, digitization may help us to preserve our planet: The research identifies six industries where digitising business processes could save up to 33 trillion USD worth of resources and cut carbon emissions by nearly 8 gigatonnes by 2030.
