DOE awarding $12M to four projects in advancements in wave energy

The US Department of Energy (DOE) announced its support in four projects that are engaging in the development of innovative technologies capable of generating reliable and cost-effective electricity from US water resources.

Two projects will be testing prototypes of wave energy converters in open water, the other two projects will address the development challenges of early- stage marine and hydrokinetic (MHK) energy technologies.
