Unauthorized drones make airports around the globe worry about the security of landing and departing planes. If a drone gets sucked into the engine of a jet, it can have serious consequences. In order to encounter this security threat, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority is testing a drone hunter that can detect drones by means of thermal and infrared imaging. It also allows to track the drone back to its origin and to inform the police about an incident.
