At the Al Saada Park at the Dubai Ladies Club women can turn kinetic energy generated by exercise into electricity to power devices. The park is a project of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. Eight exercise machines, used at the same time, can generate 800 watt per hour. The produced energy is stored and will be used to power water coolers, mobile chargers and the park’s lights.
