Dyson, the British vaccuum and smart home electronics maker, has opened a new Technology Centre in Singapore. The company will invest 561 million USD in the new facility. The new facility hosts research labs where development teams can pool their hardware and software know-how. Furthermore, it includes a “Control Tower” that shows real-time supply chain and logistic data. The data can be used to ensure that global production and shipping runs smoothly. Dyson has focused on smart technology and the domestic hardware market ever since, now it is pushing this advantage by including more work in robotics, computer visions systems and machine learning.
