Oxam has released analysis results that show the gap between the very rich and the poor is far greater than one year ago and it is even starker than thought. Eight men including Bill Gates and Michael Bloomberg own as much wealth as 3,6 billion people which is the half of entire world population. In the analysis Oxfam also outlined measures that will be enacted to help reduce the inequality. These measures are for example higher taxes on wealth and income, greater cooperation among governments and business leaders should pay their fair share of taxes and a living wage to employees.
