Technology start-up EVEN Electric and Microsoft Sweden are building a global smart trading platform for electric vehicles. Right now, the market is held by car dealerships, but idea of EVEN is to provide an alternative way to purchase electric cars. “The problem is, if you go to a car dealer today, many merchants will try to sell you a fossil fuel-driven car because they generate more revenue,” explained EVEN Electric’s founder and CEO, Gisli Gislason. “We want to challenge this, so we decided to look for new and better ways to help OEMs to sell electric cars, and to find a technology partner to help us build the solution.”

The platform is to be launched in the Nordic region first, and is then to be expanded globally. Its expected to launch next year.
