ETRAN Group is a start-up company that aims at launching an electric-motorbike service in Bangkok by the end of the year. In order to launch their service, the company hopes to raise a funding of 300 million THB. The bikes are made with a 3D printer so the will be the first innovative electric scooters for public use. Drivers of the Etran Proms scooters will be provided with a smart card they can use to start the motorbikes, swap batteries and pay the rental fee. Etran plans to expand its service to the whole Bangkok area next year and plan to expand globally in 2019.
