On Norwegian Constitution Day, Opel’s Chairman and Managing Director for Norway, Bernt G. Jessen, personally handed over the first three consumer Opel Ampera-e for Norwegian customers.
With no sales tax for electric vehicles, free parking, and abundant charging stations, Norway is a logical place to start. Also, 4,000 people had placed deposits on the car without even seeing one.
The Opel Ampera-e is designed to be an affordable and long-range electric car that enables the average citizen to drive a practical electric vehicle. “I am delighted that we have been able to present the first three proud Ampera-e owners with their cars. The Ampera-e makes everyday electro-mobility feasible and is presently the car to beat in its segment,” said Opel Vice President Sales & Aftersales Peter Christian Küspert.
