The first self-sufficient boat will start a six-year trip around the world in spring. The boat, worth 5 million euros, is equipped with solar panels, wind turbines and a hydrogen fuel cell system and will be entirely powered by wind, sun and self-generated hydrogen so it is completely emission free. The boat will start its voyage from Brittany port and will make 101 stops across 50 countries.
