The city of London has appointed the first Walking and Cycling Commissioner, Will Norman, who will work closely with the Mayor Sadiq Khan. Will Norman is the Global Partnerships Director at Nike. As the Walking and Cycling Commissioner he will responsible for pushing forward the Mayor’s Healthy Streets programme to create a safer city supported by an invest budget of 770 million Pounds on infrastructure and cycling promotion initiatives until 2021/2022. More Londoners should get more active by making cycling and walking safer and easier.
