An innovative project that offers free bicycles originated in Hangzhou, China, and has since taken the country by storm. The Hangzhou Bicycle Service even makes a profit through advertisement in the 175 cities where it is implemented. Central control rooms and numerous cycle parks eliminate problems swiftly, and the system is intergrated into public transportation system as the card used to rent the bike can be used for everything as well.
The service is a major success story, and helps reduce air pollution and congestion.
