The Green Climate Fund (GCF) agreed to a 745m USD funding round for low carbon investment. The total investments will be allocated to 10 projects spread across 27 countries which combines a total value of 2.6bn USD. Even though the launch of the GCF was difficult in the first place because of questions like how the fund schould be managed and critics that accused it of being slow to mobilise promised investement, the Fund has made large investments since then.
