Aimed at helping the developers of commercial and industrial solar plus storage systems to maximize the benefits that on-site energy storage , energy storage control and monitoring software provider Geli has built a new tool called Geli ESyst. ESyst’s ability to consider everything from design to automation, monitoring, and fleet management makes it the first end-to-end software platform in this domain. We found that our data scientists were spending more time producing site analysis reports than working on our machine-learning algorithms, so we had to find a way to enable our partners with the same analytic capabilities that we possessed in-house. Though the analytic processes that underpin Geli ESyst are quite complex, ESyst users can now size energy storage systems in just minutes, said Andrew Tanner, VP of Business Development. Offering a solution range of upto 75 hardware solution combinations ranging from 30 kilowatts to more than a megawatt, this solution uses the machine learning approach to analyze and optimize the outcome.
