In the desert of New Mexico a metropolitan area is to be built that will have no actual inhabitants. The Center for Innovation, Testing and Evaluation (CITE) will mimic a midsize city to offer a testing ground for all kinds of innovations.

Paul Feiler, CEO of CITE, explains how this one-of-a-kind project will be operated from underground laboratories with the help of sensors all over the ghost town.

To start working on the technology of the future, CITE is now looking to secure investors to break ground as early as September 2017.
