GM to release 20 new electric vehicles by 2023

General Motors announced its zero-emissions future with the goal of releasing 20 new electric vehicle models by 2023, believing in an all-electric future, as claimed by Mark Reuss, GM’s head of product development. GM revealed a brief glimpse into its zero-emission future: Some new models will be battery powered, while others will run on hydrogen fuel cells. GM also declared that it plans on releasing an electric heavy-duty truck, called SURUS. GM’s ambitious goal is in line with other car manufacturers in the race to zero-emissions, like Tesla or Ford and many others that plan a mass role out of EVs in the upcoming years.
