Startup Gogoro has raised $300 million for their battery-powered electric scooters and the corresponding network of battery stations where customers can swap out the dischargged batteries. The company had raised $182 million in two rounds of funding before for their idea.
Investors include, for example, Al Gore’s Generation Investment Management, and Gogoro will now probably ramp up having reached a major milestone.
