GreenWish Partners, an independent power producer from Paris, is to invest $280 million constructing solar power plants in Nigeria. When they are operational in early 2018, they will provide power for around 2.5 million Nigerians. Funded 70 percent through debt, the undertaking will help combat Africa’s most populous country an enormous energy shortfall.
