In order to develop a green economy in Guyana, the government announced efforts to enhance the spread of ICT in the country. As parts of the country are without sufficient energy supply, the development of ICT goes hand in hand with the development of renewable energy. The government hopes to stimulate economic activity and cooperation with the support for both ICT and renewable energy.
