The COP22 summit in Marrakesh, Morroco had the purpose of implementing the Paris Agreement on climate change. Despite considerable progress in the international cooperation to tackle the global threat, the question of funding provided by rich nations is still open. It has been agreed to operationalize the Paris Agreement by 2018. However with the financing being unclear, the future of climate change is uncertain.
