How lacking to share data with firefighters risks lives

When a city’s boroughs miss to provide information on vacant buildings for firefighters, the consequences can be deadly. This seems to be the situation in Montreal where hints indicate that there are vacant and dangerous buildings on the lists of boroughs that do not appear on the lists of firefighters. One of the sources of the problem seem to lie in the incoherent ways in which boroughs share their information with the fire department.
