The German energy company has announced a new plans to become a ‘”leading solution provider” for EV charging infrastructure across Europe and the USA. Innogy already runs a large charging network across Europe and develops new technology. With the entrance into eMobility it plans to pool these activities into a dedicated business unit that develops networks of fast charging stations, creating tailored solutions for companies and designing new retail products such as eCar sharing. The unit will launch next year.
