Istanbul joins forces with Ericsson for smart urban development

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), Istanbul Informatics and Smart City Technologies (ISBAK AS) company and Ericsson will cooperate to enhance the application of ICT for urban development. Population growth and resource utilization are central issues in the fast growing metropolitan area. This cooperation is supposed to support Istanbul’s efforts to reach the top 5 from its current 25th position in the World Global Cities index.
