Ford Motor, Volkswagen Group, BMW Group and Daimler have signed an initial agreement which aims at setting up charging stations for electric vehicles along major highways in Europe. The corporate network is an unprecedented collaboration. The network will be an ultra-fast high-powered charging network with power levels up to 350 kW. It will be much faster than most of the other powerful charging systems. The buildup is planned to start in 2017.
