In Britain the last coal power station will close in 2025. It will be replaced with gas and other sources to meet the climate change commitments. Greg Clark, the energy secretary, is convinced that this will send a positive signal to the world to invest in Britain’s green energy sector. Furthermore the government ensures the renewable energy would receive 730m Pound in support.
