Eight global fisheries companies have adopted the “Soneva Joint Declaration”. The agreement was signed after a roundtable conference in the Maldives. During the round table meeting representatives of the companies discussed and agreed upon ways to enhance the sustainabilty of the global fisheries industry and adopt the joint declaration for seven key topics.
