Researchers at the University of Oulu in Finland have discovered a way to build coatings that can mimic the surface of plant leaves. This could eventually lead to solar panels that lose less of their captured energy to reflection. The surface cannot receive more light but they can prevent more light bouncing off and support the process of transferring energy into a usable form. This procedure could be very interesting for tech companies such as Tesla which has already developed solar panels that are very tile alike.
