Lenovo aims at reducing upto 35% in carbon emissions with its new Low Temperature Solder (LTS) process, while improving the reliability, as the LTS method leads to less warping of circuit boards and fewer bad parts. The computer giant says that it will save an annual 5,956 metric tons of CO2 by the end of 2018 without adding any production costs as it will not requires any new materials or ovens.
