Ford Motor’s luxury brand Lincoln is expanding its latest pilot program, a one tap chauffer service. The serve allows the users to call a chauffer with a tap of a smartphone button to drive and to drive the user in his/her own car. Launched last month as Lincoln Chauffeur, the program is now adding San Diego, California to its list of serviceable cities. According to Eric Cin, Lincoln client services manager, “This service is generating a lot of interest among Lincoln owners. They’re using it for dinner dates, for doctor appointments; they’re recognizing just how convenient it is to have this option available.” Lincoln as a brand is keen on differentiating itself from its competitors based on unique service-based experiences. Cin further adds,”For Lincoln, it’s all about the experience.”
